Scene : Good afternoon, good evening and good night - The Truman Show This scene begins with a wide shot this helps the audience establish a initial idea of the size of Truman and it also acts as an establishing shot as you can see the front of the house behind him. The house looks rather artificial and very idealistic which sparks ideas in the audiences head as to why everything appears to be some what fake. After the initial wide shot we get the reverse shot of that, this helps the audience gain an understanding of what is happening.
